Rumors are coming in that the iPhone will launch at 8AM on July 11th. I have a feeling this launch will definitely require you to get on line way before 8AM. At $200/iphone I have no doubt they will be sold out QUICK.
I've been watching some apps in development. There are many out there already. The competition will be fierce. But here is a very cool and practical app: "Tube Maps". This isn't really useful for most US users, but if you live in the UK this will be very useful:

I finally released my very first version of MeMapper.com. MeMapper is a social network that uses your location based services to help you find your friends. It comes with a companion iPhone application, but I can't release it yet because the SDK is still in beta.
